Ashley Hendryx is a passionate educator and innovative entrepreneur with over 20 years of dedicated experience in transforming lives through learning, effective team building, and business development throughout the commercial construction and development market. Throughout her career, Ashley has combined her foundation and love for education with a keen entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring countless students, clients, employees and professionals alike.
Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University as well as her Master’s Degree from Aurora University, where she initially began her professional journey as an educator. Recognizing the changing landscape of education and building upon her love of complex problem solving, Ashley ventured into entrepreneurship, founding Legacy Learning Academy, a successful educational service company focused on providing not only educational and functional learning products but a foundational curriculum fostering advanced learning techniques through interactive and engaging modalities that build on the best learning styles for the end user. Ashley quickly discovered her passion as an entrepreneur and providing solutions to troubled or underserved marketplaces.
While simultaneously owning and managing multiple commercial properties during her tenure as an educational business owner, Ashley identified an outstanding opportunity for growth within the commercial development and construction industry for women. With a purpose driven spirit and tenacity for creation, Ashley founded Riveter Construction, a commercial development and general contracting company that focuses on delivering high-level service to the real estate and construction markets through clear, consistent, and accurate communications coupled with an extensive knowledge base of delivery methods that provide exceptional results. With a keen eye for design and a strategic approach to development, Ashley has successfully brought several high-impact projects to fruition, enhancing community infrastructure and generating economic opportunities. This venture has allowed her to not only oversee the construction of diverse projects but also to mentor aspiring builders and promote sustainable practices in the construction industry.
